## Statement

On November 19, 2021, an issue of Countywide News reported that La'Trenda Sanders was fired from her position as Executive Director of the Child Advocacy Center among funding issues, in August of 2021.

Further news articles report there were a couple of **grants used to fund the Child Advocacy Center**, which is under the Pott. County DA’s Office that **were lost.** The Pott. County Commissioners allocated up to $400,000 to keep the center open.
